A Shire Films production; produced and directed by Dan Bessie. The Golden Era of Hollywood in the 1930s and '40s produced an unusual puppet troupe called Harry Burnett and his Marionettes. A gay extended family in a time when such things were only whispered about, they hilariously parodied stars of the day including Garbo, Chaplin, and Gable. Their Turnabout Theatres, so named for its 180-degree swiveling chairs, hosted famous names both onstage and off.
