A University of Michigan Bicentennial Event featuring a variety of (primarily musical) performances and presentations. The event also featured a number of University of Michigan alumni, alumnae, staff, and faculty, including, but not limited to, actress Jacqueline Toboni; actor and musician Darren Criss; Cecilia Muñoz, former director of the White House Domestic Policy Council and civil rights activist; Dr. Sanjay Gupta, neurosurgeon and correspondent; Desmond Howard, former NFL player and ESPN analyst; Professor George Shirley; theatrical producer Jeffrey Seller; Dr. Karin Muraszko; Ari Weinzweig, co-founder of Zingerman's Delicatessen; Judge Cynthia Stephens; and James W. Toy, founder of the institution later called the Spectrum Center.
